Saints Acquire Skilled Veteran Prendergast
St.Clair Shores, MI - On the day of the FHL expansion and dispersal drafts the Fighting Saints are proud to announce the acquisition of Tyler Prendergast from the Berlin River Drivers.
Prendergast has played for the River Drivers as well as the Berkshire Battalion the last two seasons amassing huge numbers of 117 points in 75 games. He also played 8 games in the SPHL last season.
The staff in St Clair Shores could not be happier with their recent trade, "Tyler brings a wealth of knowledge to the ice and has the ability to be a team leader on and off the ice. He has shown that he can lead the offense every team he has been a part of. We are ecstatic over the opportunity to bring him to the Fighting Saints" stated General Manager Brandon Contratto.
In return Berlin has been dealt the first round dispersal draft pick from the Saints (2nd overall) as well as future considerations.
